Does Marco end up with Parker or Ben in Glamorous? (spoilers)

A touch of glamour has arrived on Netflix in the form of the new comedy-drama series Glamorous. If you love shows like Emily in Paris, The Bold Type, and Younger, then you will definitely fall head over heels for the beauty industry series starring Miss Benny and Kim Cattrall.

In the new series, Marco Mejia (Miss Benny) begins working for legendary makeup mogul Madolyn Addison (Kim Cattrall), which thrusts him into the mix of a high-powered corporate environment. While balancing his new job, Marco also balances a stressful love triangle.

Does Marco end up with self-proclaimed finance bro Parker (Graham Parkhurst), or does he end up with his sweet co-worker Ben (Michael Hsu Rosen)? Here’s what happens for Marco’s love life in the first season finale of Glamorous.

From the moment Marco meets Ben on his first day at Madolyn Addison’s office, Ben has an immediate crush on his new co-worker. However, when Marco meets Parker and flirts with him in a locker room (Parker’s towel comes off!), the two have sparks. Initially, Marco opts for a relationship with Parker, which he learns is easier said than done.

Parker wants a no-strings-attached physical relationship with Marco, consisting of hookups at his apartment. Marco realizes that they haven’t been on a date and openly wonders if Parker would feel embarrassed to be seen with Marco in public. Wisely, Marco stands up for himself and tells Parker he can’t be with him if they can’t have something more.

Playing into the larger-than-life apology scenario Marco lays out, Parker somehow gets Monet X Change to deliver Marco flowers with an apology. They continue to hook up, and Parker concedes on his position of not looking for anything serious. But a disastrous trip to Provincetown later ends with hurt feelings from Ben, who thought he and Marco had something.

While Marco and Ben do hook up in the season, and Marco and Parker extend their relationship a little further than Marco might have expected, Marco doesn’t end up with either of them. Marco effectively tells Parker he’ll never see him again, but his friendship with Ben remains intact. Something tells us if season 2 happens, Marco and Ben’s story isn’t quite over yet.
