Jesse Michael Anderson, an American serial killer, lived from May 3, 1957, through November 30, 1994. In 1994, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and fellow inmate and murderer Christopher Scarver killed Anderson in the Columbia Correctional Institution.
Anderson was born and reared in Alton, Illinois. When Anderson was a teenager, his mother remarried, and his father went away from a heart attack. In 1975, Anderson received his high school diploma from Alton.
Anderson also received a Business Administration diploma from Elmhurst College in 1984. Anderson wed Barbara E. Lynch in Chicago, Illinois, on March 30, 1985. The Anderson family, which included three young children, resided in Cedarburg, Wisconsin prior to his arrest for murder.

After dinner, Jesse stabbed Barbara five times in the face and head before killing himself by stabbing himself four times in the chest, but the majority of his wounds were superficial.
Barbara suffered injuries, went into a coma, and passed away two days later.
