Diamond The Body, is the stage name of Atlanta, Georgia-native Brittany Nicole Carpentero, who was born on May 20, 1988, to a Puerto Rican father and an African American mother.

In 2004, Diamond, who was just fifteen, became a member of the group name the Crime Mob. With their Platinum-certified hit “Knuck If You Buck,” Crime Mob group first attracted the attention of the country in 2004.

Later that summer, they issued their debut album, Crime Mob and a second album, Hated on Mostly, was released in March 2007 and was followed by their next top-charting song, “Rock Yo Hips,” which was released in August 2006.

Diamond parted ways with Crime Mob in November 2007 to focus on a solo career and signed a management agreement with Polo Grounds Music. Along with Trina and Eve, she made an appearance on the remix of the Ludacris song “My Chick Bad” in 2010.
