Miles Alexander Teller is an American actor born on February 20, 1987. In Whiplash, he played jazz drummer Andrew Neiman, and in Top Gun: Maverick, he played pilot Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw.

Teller made his first full-length movie in 2010, and he became known for starring opposite Shailene Woodley in the coming-of-age movie The Spectacular Now (2013) and the Divergent film trilogy (2014–2016).

Miles’ big break came with his part in the 2014 drama Whiplash, which won an Oscar and brought him a lot of praise.

After Whiplash, he became a leading man and starred in several romantic comedies, including the superhero movie Fantastic Four (2015) and the biographical film War Dogs and Bleed for This (2016).

Miles began dating the model Keleigh Sperry in 2013, and they have been together ever since then. They got engaged on August 20, 2017, at the Molori Safari Lodge, which is located in the Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa.

Their wedding took place on September 1, 2019, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Teller considers himself a die-hard supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies.
