Netflix has released a new romantic thriller titled Fake Profile, and we’re here to share all there is to know about it, including who’s in the cast.

Fake Profile is a Colombian Netflix original series created by Pablo Illanes. It’s a suspenseful show that will instantly catch your attention from just the first episode.

It follows a young woman named Camila who is seeking love and to find the man of her dreams. She creates a profile on a dating app called Spice and comes across a very good-looking man named Fernando. However, Fernando is not really who he says he is. His name isn’t Fernando, and he isn’t really single. But Camila doesn’t find this out right away. It’s not until she tries to surprise him that she discovers his real identity. Desperate to make him pay for leading her on, Camila finds herself involved in a dangerous situation.

The intriguing plot might’ve pulled you in, but wait until you find out who stars in the new series. Fake Profile boasts a talented cast, and you might recognize some of the actors.

Mexican actress Carolina Miranda stars in the leading role as Camila Román. She’s best known for her previous roles in the Spanish TV shows Lady of Steel (Señora Acero), Malverde: El Santo PatrónWho Killed Sara? and La Mujer del Diablo.

Venezuelan actor Rodolfo Salas plays the role of Fernando/Miguel Esteves in the series. You might’ve watched him in the TV shows La FanJenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio, Sangre de mi tierraMi Familia PerfectaBetty en NY and Médicos, línea de vida.

Here’s the cast list below:

The romantic thriller series is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s meant to be viewed by mature, adult audiences only. It was given this maturity rating for strong language, nudity, sex, smoking, and violence. Overall, we wouldn’t recommend watching this show with kids around.

Unfortunately, Netflix did not release the official trailer with English subtitles, but we decided to still share it.
