Florida Man is Netflix’s latest crime dramedy series releasing on Thursday, April 13. Created by This Is Us executive producer Donald Todd, Florida Man stars Edgar Ramirez as a struggling former cop sent to Florida on a whirlwind chase to find a mobster’s ex-girlfriend. What begins as a simple enough task soon spirals into something far more complex.

Florida Man boasts a talented cast of actors, including recognizable faces like Edgar Ramirez, Abbey Lee, Clark Gregg, and more.
Edgar Ramirez is the series lead, playing ex-cop Mike Valentine. Mike is tasked with hunting down Delly West (Abbey Lee), ex-girlfriend of Philly mobster Moss Yankov (Emory Cohen), who also happens to be Mike’s boss. You might recognize Ramirez from films like Gold (2016), Point Break (2015), or Deliver Us from Evil.
Former model-turned-actress Abbey Lee rose to prominence when she played The Dag in the acclaimed film Mad Max: Fury Road. More recently, she’s appeared in projects like The Neon Demon, The Dark Tower, Old (2021), and Lovecraft Country.
The cast also featured The OA alum Emory Cohen, Clementine actress Otmara Marrero as Mike’s sister Patsy, and The First Purge star Lex Scott Davis as his ex-wife Iris. Anthony LaPaglia of Without a Trace fame plays Mike’s father, a felon named Sonny Valentine.
Additionally, Florida Man stars Clark Gregg, who Marvel fans will recognize as Agent Phil Coulson. Isaiah Johnson (Person of Interest), Paul Schneider (Lars and the Real Girl), and Lauren Buglioli (A Jazzman’s Blues) round out the cast.
