Fans of the Netflix original series You will be happy to know that a new season of the series will finally be released. Netflix announced that on October 15, You season 3 will release on the streamer. Fans are curious about what characters will be returning. For instance, will we see John Stamos as Dr. Nicky again?

This series is one of the most highly anticipated series for 2021 and will be an awesome addition to your Halloween viewing. This psychological thriller has been a huge success for the streamer, and fans can’t wait to see what happens next.

You season 3 will see the return of Joe (Penn Badgley) and Love (Victoria Pedretti). There will also be some new characters. Sherry (Shalita Grant), Cary (Travis Van Winkle), Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), Theo (Dylan Arnold) and Michaela McManus will be Joe’s new neighbor, Natalie, who was seen at the end of season 2.

Fans enjoyed John Stamos’ portrayal of therapist Dr. Nicky. Joe and Beck were both seeing this therapist as it was how Joe was able to discover that the doctor was having an affair with Beck. He used that intel to frame him for the murder of Beck and the other murders he committed. In typical Joe fashion, this removed all suspicion from himself.

One question fans have is will Stamos return in season 3. Sadly, the answer is no. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Stamos stated that he wouldn’t be returning to the series. Also, during this interview, his wife Caitlin shared that Dr. Nicky is her favorite role that her husband has played.

Stamos is currently busy with his new Disney+ series Big Shot where he plays basketball coach Marvyn Korn, who is fired and takes a new job at an all-girls private high school. The series premiered in April 2021.

Although we won’t see Dr. Nicky in season 3 of You on Netflix, there will be plenty of new characters to meet, and who knows what Joe will be up to next!
